R.A. Reed Productions Provides Services for Nike

PORTLAND, Ore. – Dec. 11, 2000 – R.A. Reed Productions, a Portland-based scenic and staging company, recently provided services for Nike’s National Sales Meeting, held Nov. 6 through 10 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Reed Productions was responsible for providing all sets, staging, masking and audience risers for "Nike Brand Overview," part of the sales meeting.

The show, produced by Bob Talmadge & Associates and designed by Robert L. Smith, consisted of custom staging and screen surrounds and a series of moving scenic and scrim panels. The showstopper was an elaborate pair of center stairs that pivoted off stage to reveal an upstage center entrance.

All the movement in the scenery enhanced and complemented the movement of the dancers. The combination made for one of Nike’s best opening shows at a sales meeting.
